Repaired the RIGAKU RIX-3000 X-ray fluorescence (XRF) Analyzer;

Upgraded the control unit and I/O interface for data collection with Arduino;

Simulated the acceleration process of ion in electric field and its deflection process in magnetic field in mass spectrometer with SIMION software;

Transformed the input/output modules of mass spectrograph;

Wrote a control program with LabVIEW, computer-controlling the ion source emission and magnetic field parameters;

Computerized signal collection and real-time display of emission spectrum of the ion.

Studied the performance of the X-ray tube electron beam focusing system;

Established the model of electrostatic lens system;

Analyzed the focusing effect of the system in different accelerating voltage, electron initial energy and range ability with SIMION.
